An on-device model strips PII (names, emails, passwords, keys) and swaps it for placeholders before your context reaches any cloud AI, then restores it in the reply. It only kicks in for cloud calls; local models get the raw text. The cloud brain never learns who you actually are.

You can't trust a server. You can trust local code. On-device scrubbing, a small local model, strips your personal details before any cloud AI ever touches them, and rehydrates the reply so you still read real names.

Live as of v0.1.1: Privacy Mirror scrubs PII on every cloud call (local models get raw text) and you still control exactly what context you share.
